Batman: Arkham City
Batman: Arkham City Review
If you thought that superhero games were a crap, you have to see this game
Since the release of the great Spider-Man 2 all of the super hero games got horrible scores in almost all of the reviews of the critic sites like IGN, GameSpot, MetaCritic, etc.
But in 2009, the unknown Rocksteady Studios brought us the great Arkham Asylum that got tons of awards and perfect scores. PS: And it came from a developer that wasn't the biggest in the market.
Now, we have Arkham City that is an amazing game and you have to play it.
First, it brings you an experience that when you reach a certain point of the main story, you will be amazed with the rich graphics, scenarios and characters design, and probaly excited with what will happen next.
Let's start analyzing the First Look...
First Look
When you put the disc in your console you'll probaly be a little dissapointed with the installation time, if you have a PS3.
But it can't decrease your expectations of the game when you first gain acess to the stylish main menu.
If you are an Arkham Asylum "expert", I highly recommend you to start the game in the Normal difficult, not that I'm a noob, but because you need to accustom with the new combat system, very like the Asylum system, but you know, it's not the SAME.
If the beginning of the game don't convinces you, don't be mad at the game, you'll like it later. The true is that the start is not epic, imagine using Bruce Wayne to fight thugs and inmates (both are the same). But believe me, with 2 hours playing this game you'll be fascinated. But I gotta tell ya, when you first turn to Batman, it's THAT epic.
Gameplay
If you are one of the noobs whose used the Detective Mode in the entire Arkham Asylum, believe me, you won't you use it a lot of times in this game. First, the style it's different, gone with the "all-environment vision" (means that you can clearly see the entire environment around you) and introducing the default Detective Mode, that can see only close walls and thugs behind wall and this kind of stuff. Basicaly, this was an answer to the Detective Fever from the Asylum, where almost 80% of the owners of the game completed the game using the Detective Mode. In my personal opinion, Rocksteady wanted the players to enjoy and explore the environment with the "normal" graphics.
In combat, it's very like the first game, you have a button to attack, one to counter and to jump/run (if you do this on combat), and again we have the "Cape Stun Attack" where this time you can use this on combos with the Ultra Stun (three times on the stun button).
Predator, the same as Arkham Asylum.
Score
This is a masterpiece, a must play game and you must play it. So I give Batman: Arkham City a 10/10. PS: It worth the 60 bucks.
10/10 - Final Score

Xbox 720 Discussion Room
At this rate, you must be mad at the computer trying to find sources about the new Microsoft's home console, the unofficial Xbox 720.
Few things we know about it, like that Microsoft is looking for employees to develop new ideas for their new console, or that the logo "Xbox 720" was displayed in the new movie: "Real Steel".
That's why we're here, to discuss about new possibilities for the new Xbox. To start, let's look at this picture below.
Xbox 720 displayed in a movie trailer
-------------------------------------------------
As you can see, the logo has been displayed in the new action/adventure movie, "Real Steel". This story has a big potential because it displays a logo that could or could not be the name/logo of the new Xbox.
But this is only the beginning, down below, you'll see a bunch of articles about the new Xbox, so, go to the one who you think it's more interesting.
Graphics
-----------------------
One word, great! Up to 10x faster than the regular 360. This have been confirmed by the creator of Rage, John Carmack.
"The next generation will be with us soon in a couple of years. She will be ten times more powerful than this generation. I would be surprised if it does not last more than a decade before people came to the conclusion that had already reached the full potential for her games. "
If you don't believe this dude you'll be surpreised if you see what's happening in the Studios around the world.
"Custom hardware dev kits for the next Xbox will be shipped to leading developers and publishers by the end of the year, according to a new report.
Citing a "source," the generally reliable Edge Magazine reports developers like Ubisoft Montreal are working on 'target boxes' based on Microsoft's intended specifications for its new machine. The target boxes, which have been sent to top publishers like EA and Ubisoft, are basically PCs featuring components that aspire to the new machine's specs. Edge says that "AMD is providing the bespoke GPU solution for Microsoft's console." Microsoft is now replacing these with new dev kits. The story is fueling speculation that the new Xbox will be available at retail by the end of 2012. " - By IGN
Well, one of these developers, Epic Games released a "demo" running in real time, of what they say, "possible next-gen graphics".
Unreal Engine 3's "Samaritan"
